Materials Handler – Ystrad Mynach
£13.36 – £16.57 per hour | Four-Day Week | Temporary to Ongoing

Nu Staff are currently recruiting for a Materials Handler to join a well-established manufacturing business in Ystrad Mynach.

This is a hands-on logistics role where you’ll be responsible for scanning and delivering materials to the production line. Around 80–90% of the role involves scanning and moving parts using a handheld scanner, while 10–20% involves operating a Counterbalance forklift truck.

A valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT licence is essential.

Hours of Work:

  Days: £13.36 per hour (Monday to Thursday, 05:30 – 15:00)

• 
  

  Afternoons: £16.57 per hour (Monday to Thursday, 15:00 – 00:00)
  
  

Pay Rate:

• 
  

  £13.36 – £16.57 per hour (depending on shift)

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Pick and scan parts using handheld barcode scanners

• 
  

  Deliver materials to production lines promptly and accurately

• 
  

  Operate a Counterbalance forklift as required

• 
  

  Assist with inventory management and general warehouse tasks

• 
  

  Maintain clean, tidy, and safe work areas at all times

What We’re Looking For:

  Previous experience in warehousing or materials handling

• 
  

  Valid Counterbalance FLT licence

• 
  

  Good attention to detail and timekeeping

• 
  

  Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks

• 
  

  Positive, team-oriented attitude
