Project Coordinator & Administrative Assistant – Cardiff
£14.00 – £16.00 per hour | Temporary Contract (until January 2026 could be longer) | Immediate Start Available

Nu Staff are recruiting for an experienced Project Coordinator & Administrative Assistant to join a dynamic and creative organisation based in Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading Welsh media organisation, contributing directly to projects and operations that shape Wales’ cultural and creative landscape.

Fluency in Welsh and English (both spoken and written) is essential for this role.

Hours of Work:


  • 35.5 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday (flexibility required, including occasional weekends and bank holidays)

Contract:


  • Temporary – until 31 January 2026 (Could be extended)

Pay Rate:


  • £14.00 – £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide administrative support to the Publishing and Commercial Activities teams
  • Coordinate workstreams and joint projects with external partners
  • Arrange meetings, events, and festivals across Wales, the UK, and abroad
  • Prepare reports and data analysis for senior leadership and the board
  • Support project tracking, documentation, and grant-funded research activities
  • Manage diaries, travel arrangements, and internal communications
  • Maintain efficient office systems and ensure smooth day-to-day coordination
  • Liaise with finance teams regarding budgets, payments, and procurement
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, health & safety, and data protection policies

What We’re Looking For:


  • Previous experience in project coordination or administration (essential)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Confident working with both internal teams and external partners
  • Fluent in Welsh and English
  • Professional, adaptable, and enthusiastic team player
