Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our Clients team on an ongoing temporary basis at their warehouse in Blackwood. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the warehouse by performing various tasks related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy in picking and packing.
- Load and unload goods from lorries, maintaining a high level of safety and efficiency.
- Operate warehouse equipment as required, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Manage stock levels by conducting regular inventory checks and reporting discrepancies.
- Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory movements and processing orders.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing products are handled correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency within the warehouse.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred
- Experience with stock management practices is beneficial.
