As 2025 draws to a close we’ve been looking back on what has been a significant year for NuStaff. From business growth and new collaborations to strengthening long-standing relationships with clients and candidates, this year has reinforced what we’ve always believed, that people are at the heart of everything we do.
Our Managing Director, Dave Matthews sums it up perfectly when he says:
“2025 has been a hugely important year for NuStaff. Becoming part of the Vester Group, growing our team, and continuing to support both long-standing and new clients has reinforced everything we believe in, that recruitment is, and always should be, about people. I’m incredibly proud of what the team has achieved this year and excited about what lies ahead in 2026.”
Here are five key highlights that defined our year.
1. Becoming Part of the Vester Group
2025 marked a major milestone for NuStaff as we became part of the newly formed Vester Group.
This year saw the launch of:
- Vester Group
- Winberry
- Executive HR
Together, these specialist recruitment consultancies and collaborations sit under the Vester Group umbrella, united by a shared belief: that people are central to every successful organisation.
Becoming part of Vester Group has allowed us to strengthen our specialist offering and provide even greater value to clients and candidates alike, while staying true to NuStaff’s values.
2. Connecting Our Clients with the Right People
Throughout 2025, we continued to work in close partnership with our clients, delivering personalised recruitment solutions designed around their people, culture and business needs.
We’re incredibly proud to maintain relationships with clients we’ve supported for over 30 years, while also welcoming new organisations into the NuStaff network. This balance of loyalty and growth is something we value deeply and look forward to building on as we head into 2026.
3. Growing the NuStaff Team
This year, we welcomed some key new appointments to the NuStaff team:
- Hannah Thomas
- Cai Gumm
- Matt Bowles
They’ve already made an impact, bringing fresh ideas, energy and expertise to the business. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to building a team that shares our values, professionalism and belief in doing recruitment the right way.
4. Supporting Industry and Community Events
In 2025, we were proud to actively support the wider industry and business community by:
- Sponsoring the Made in Wales Awards
- Having a presence at the inaugural HR in Wales Conference as part of Vester Group
Supporting events that celebrate excellence, innovation and people across Wales is an important part of who we are, and we look forward to continuing this involvement in the years ahead.
5. Supporting Hundreds of Candidates into Work
Above all else, we’re proud to have supported hundreds of candidates into jobs throughout 2025.
From temporary roles to longer-term contracts, our focus has always been on building long-term relationships and finding roles that genuinely suit each individual’s needs, goals and circumstances.
Helping people find work and supporting them throughout their journey remains at the heart of everything we do.
As we look towards 2026, we’re excited to build on the momentum of the past year. With strong partnerships, a growing team and a continued focus on people-centred recruitment, we’re ready for what’s next.
Thank you to our clients, candidates, partners and team for being part of the NuStaff journey, we look forward to continuing to work together in the year ahead.
